What happens next
- Call or send photosof the boiler, the error code and the pressure gauge, with your postcode.
- An engineer gets back to youand offers the next breakdown slot.
- The engineer confirms the timeand the price with you before any work starts.
Smell gas, a carbon monoxide alarm going off, or feeling unwell near the boiler? That's a gas emergency, not a breakdown.
Leave the property. Don't use light switches, flames or electrical items. Open doors and windows on your way out if it's safe, and call the National Gas Emergency Service free on 0800 111 999. If anyone feels unwell, call 999. Call us once the emergency service has made it safe.

With a few photos, the engineer can work out the likely fault and bring the right parts.

- The pressure gauge, if you can see one.
Please don't remove the boiler casing or try gas repairs yourself.
